What is a good Fuse "amp" to have when powering ALOT of LED's and neons? Unkown number of Neons and LEDS right now.

Why don't you figure out what size you need when you actually have neons and LEDs in your car.

The question of what fuse size to use depends on the wire size. The question of what wire size to use depends on the number of LEDs and neons.

like everyone here said....you need to know how many LEDS and Neons you will be using as well as what wire size and if you will be running them all off the same power switch and wire...
Each LED and Neon draws a different amount of Amp's and needs to be calculated as a whole for safe installation and operation. A good idea is between 5A for a small to medium amount of LED's/Neons (again, Medium is defined by the user) and for a large amount (20+) a 10-15Amp fuse might be needed. That will all depend on what type of LED's and Neons you have though. If you do a forum search you will find a write up that describes the products that Oznium sells and what amperage they use for a single unit. Edit: Here you go, it is in the How To forum http://www.oznium.com/forum/topic15761 |
