I just bought one and bought a 2yr warranty.
Want to know whats your view on it.
Was going to get the iphone but its wayyyy more expensive AND! i would need to get a data plan which i am NOT going to do.

Also i currently carry 2 phone..a sidekick lx and a samsung sync...the lx for texting and the sync for calling..(don't ask why) and with the i9 i can have both sim cards in one phone. Not having to carry 2 phone FTMFW

Uh, wow. Looks a lot like the iPhone.

My thoughts? You aren't cool enough to own a iPhone, so you bought a knockoff. biglaugh.gif

I can't believe they were allowed to make something that's almost identical looks-wise.

The icons are a blatant ripoff of Apple, which I'm sure is far from legal (even just to advertise it in that photo).

I'd rather own a knock off than pay apple for anything.

The various ones I've looked at you have easy change batteriers (unlike the iphone), some/most have dual sim card slots under the battery for easy access (again not like the iphone), most have a micro sd slot again under the battery (again not like the iphone) as well as many other little features (like no need to jail break) that makes them loads better than an iphone.

In the end you stated your reason for getting one (dual sim slots, tho if I remember correctly you can't use them at the same time but I might be wrong) as well as the fact that you're not wanting to give Apple large quantities of cash when you can just as good if not better for less... As long as it makes you happy who cares what the world thinks...

yes you can use both sim cards at the same time..or atleast thats what they state

i really don't care what people think..i just needed/wanted a new phone and this one had everything i wanted for a reasonable price...$165 w. 2yr warranty vs $300 for a iphone PLUS! another $15 for the data plan they make you get and you are locked in for 2yrs.
This way i can change providers and still use the same phone.

I also like the fact about the battery, this one actually comes w. 2 batteries. Guess it has a charging dock? idk and also the micro sd slot...

I can't wait to get my new i9 phone icon_biggrin.gif

omfg, even the packaging is a rip off http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6ovvu_cect-i9-hiphone_tech Too bad none of the software looks anywhere as smooth as a real iphone.

yes i know texting will be harder to do but i think its worth it for me..an about it lasting a month..thats the main reason why i did the 2yr warranty was only $25..and if they can't fix it they'll refund me $153

definitely looks like a company that made them to sell them to scammers in hopes of people buying them just to pass off as the iphone.

^Most likely.
It just looks like it's supposed to be an IPhone Killer. However, all of these so called product killers never seem to work.

Something is different. The iphone doesn't work with a stylus, this does. What happens if you lose it???

Ok, why would someone want two sim cards?

And how is the MP3 player on this?

as the op stated having two sim cards slots allows you to basically combine two phones into one...

The mp3 player seems decent from the videos I've seen...

Who cares if it looks like an iPhone. It's a phone that's much more suited for what he needs than the iPhone.

i just got it and i'm trying to figure out a way to return it and not get charged a 20% restocking fee.
Looks great..works great..but i can't use aim on it. Thats why i got the sidekick to be on aim..so i'm not going to be carrying around two big phones

or i can sell it to someone here

dude pay $199 and get the damn iPhone... I swear you will be more than pleased and you can text and IM and call and do whatever you can imagine with thousands of applications available for it!

EDIT: looking again at the phone and actually watching the video, that is a horrible knock off of the iPhone. what a POS.
