I put the 9v in the tongue of the shoe. Ripped out the rubber sole and kept all the wiring under that so it's hidden. Only the power and ground wire come up along the bottom of the tongue to the battery.

I wore the shoes out tonight. They didn't hold up very well to the punishment that is walking around wal-mart. The pins on the ends of the LED bulbs all broke off. *Sigh* I have such bad luck with these things. Any advice on reinforcing them?
