I thought they were just tinted tails up until now. I kinda liked them black better, but it's up to you.

I like them white. I would see if you could do what the others say and find a way to remove the black stuff from the tailgate. White out the whole rear end.

Paint the taillights white, mix 30% white to 70% clear and spray a few light coats. Light will shine through no problem, and will look **** when parked.

To remove the plastic off tail I would have to fill in several holes as its not just glued on, and I dont have the time or money to do that and have tailgate repainted and I dont wanna get a new tailgate cuse I have mine line'xed already... Guess I'll wait a few days and if I dont like em ill attempt to remove the white off the covers or just buy new ones.

^^So feisty lol

They look good imo. I liked the black a lot. And the white ones I think look cool and more importantly different. Which is why I think I like them.

Good work homie and glad the paint got there ok. Thanks for the business.

Well im having my tranny re-built the saturday after thanksgiving and while my boss is doing that im gonna take off the black plastic from the tailgate, turns out its just double sided tape so no holes! This will clean it up a bit.. Possibly gonna remove the Dodge and 4x4 decals and replace them with gray to match the tonnou cover and the two tone of truck..... not sure yet.

Thanks for the comments everyone, keep em coming.

The white looks better than the black. But cleaning up that tailgate would make the truck look like a million bucks. Remove the badging, and the plastic. Hell, even moving the handle to the inside (shave) would look sick.

itzbjorn- Thats a good idea... hell I may do the whole truck one day but right now I dont have the funds for it.

if you do end up going through with my idea make sure you buy bright led bulbs for your taillights cause smoking them then putting those painted covers on definently will decrase visability. but stock bulbs will still work.

I have clear bulbs with the red rubber around them now since the bulbs with red paint (or whatever it is) flakes off or fades to easy. And to my surprise they look really red, I was afraid they were gonna be pink.
