The Fusion kit has slightly longer LED tubes 50" vs. ICELed's side tube of 48", but who's tube is smaller in diameter? And do they both have the same type of mounting, a screw hole on each end and straps?

Maybe Phil knows as he can compare both. Thanks.

iceled is the same width, but clear, not frosted. it's like 10x brighter than fusion. the 48" are made up for by the 70 degree led light spread, and iceled has no mounting screw holes on the sides... just use zip ties.

Thanks for the info. I sure wish IceLED had mounting holes as my Fusion tubes are screwed into the flat bottom of my car.

mmm... well the point is that you can rotate it based on the drop and such that you have... and the led's point outward to cast the glow farther.

ICELED ownz Fusion like you wouldnt believe. Me and A2I had the fusion before we switched to ICELED.

Trust me, you can find a way to mount them. Its worth every damn penny.

The extra 2 inches that the Fusion tbes have ar all end cap anyway.

The OPTX LED kit I have came with the same straps any SG neon kit has but they have two sided tape on them as well to keep the tube from rotating. You could use the same idea for the Ice tubes as well.

I like the zip-tie method. I didn't have to make too many holes under my car (only 2 on each side), because I had some stock holes that I could tie to. Also, it was easy to switch from pointing outward, to pointing inward. I just twisted them. icon_biggrin.gif
