Well, I finally installed my Plasmaglow LED kit yesterday...... almost.
I was able to get the 2 side tubes installed without problems. I also got the front tube installed but still need an extension cable so I can plug it in. Unfortunately I can't install the rear tube since there's no where to put it back there without it resting up against the muffler. I recently installed a trailer hitch on my car so we could tow a small trailer that we have and the hitch bracket takes up all the room under the back of the car and there's no where left for the tube. I guess 3 out of 4 isn't bad. I might try to use a few small accent neons stategically placed to at least get some glow back there. On the brighter side I can probably find somewhere inside my car to use the 4th tube. Other than that my kit works great and all the functions look pretty cool. I really like the music function set to color changing mode. With the sensitivity adjusted just right it really puts out some cool effects. |

Not on my car there isn't. The only possible place to put a tube was back in the bumper where I used to have my neon tube...... which I had to remove when I installed the hitch because it fills up the whole area. Being a small car the exhaust takes up the whole rest of the area all the way back to the rear axle. I suppose I could mount it on the bottom of the rear axle but that wouldn't be very good because it could easily get damaged and because it would be viewable. Here's what the rear of my car looks like. The old neon that's in the pic is no longer there. The trailer hitch takes up the whole area where the neon is.

Yeah, even if I remove the spare tire (which I planned on doing) the tube is still too long and half of it would rest directly on the damn muffler. |

yea, i had a few problems installing mine to...the sg tube mounted on my back trunk fine, but eh PG tube i had to drill into teh frame and make my own holders....its a nice effect to make a more broad glow, but kkinda annoying for a longer tube....also their side tubes are a lil shorter than sg's which kinda sux because the side is where you want it to extend across the entire thing.....im gonn be adding led's under there to give it a more full effect

That sux, PT... well, atleast you'll have an interior PG Fusion tube (maybe the first one). I don't have the spare tire under mine, but I had a similar problem with just my back ub tube... I had to put it a little in the back bumper to get it away from the muffler. Our small cars just make installs fun, i guess.
Anyways, my little Neon has no glow on it's sides at the moment. I had to take them off as my car is going up on a lift tomorrow. Going to replace out my oil pan with a much nicer one tomorrow and on my car you gotta remove the front motor mount to get the old oil pan out. The install will go ALOT easier with a lift and air tools at my disposal L8R all, |
