I use it to keep things in there from moving around, i took out some things so they were out of the pics.
I have to have oil in my car all the time now because of it using so much and i don't want to go some place and run low, i also have my duster and other things in the trunk.

I don't see how the net helps when the trunk lid is like an inch away.

It's more there if you need to have the trunk open for whatever reason.

it is there so the stuff in my trunk don't move around and hit my subs or go into my ports.

Phil, the first thing I did was take mine off. I have it somewhere in my basement.

And I was thinking differently - I thought the net was to keep stuff from getting out. I forgot it's mainly for holding little **** close to the front so it doesn't move.

Oh well, I still wouldn't use it.

How dark is the new tint you got put on? I am looking to get mine done (fronts and back). I want something dark... but not completely blacked out kind of deal. I was thinking either 20 or 35... any ideas?

20 is a good bet. Not limo tint, but not light either. 35 sounds a bit light for what you want.

Yours is 35%? That gets me kind of worried, because it does look pretty dark already. I have a picture of the same car as mine (not my car) with 20% and I thought that was what I wanted. Now I don't know! icon_confused.gif

Well, you may want to check your local laws on what is & isn't legal for tint. My tint is the highest legal limit for my area (about 28%)... the law only applies to the front two windows, but I didnt want to have "mis-matched" tint so all windows got the same tint. Pic below.

also, when you look through tint at a lighter colored background it makes the tint look lighter. Dark background = darker. so you really need to go your tint shop and look at samples there.

If you put 35 % on your car it isnt dark at all. But try this ( if you can find a shop that will do it under the table... ) : Tint the windshield at 50 % and tint the side windows at whatever. Tinting the windshield at 50 % isnt noticable at all but makes a HUGE difference on how light the inside of the car is.

If you have a medical condition that says you have to have your windshield tinted for the sake of you eyes or whatever then it's legal for you to have it. I think Phil was willing to sell one that may or may not be "legit."

You can also get notes for your side windows.

yes, only 2 type r's running 600 each.

and limo tint on the windshield is just stupid. i think tinting the windshield it self is stupid because you can't see **** when it is dark.
