I received HID kit single bulb kit for christmas. I installed them and the high beem doesn't work. When I put the high beems on they just shut off. Is there a way I can make the high beems work again?

Your car has a 9007 size bulb, which has both high and low beams built into one bulb. You likely got an HID kit that has only the low beam bulb on it.

You'll either need to find an HID/halogen 9007 combination kit, or put your stock halogens back in to regain your high beams. Or wire up some fog lights or some other alternative light source.

Or live without them!

So I have to buy another kit? Or can I buy the HID/halogen 9007 combination kit? Will the combination kit work with the HID kit i have now?

You need the bi zenon kit , it has both bulbs , they make it in zenon hid/halogen high beam
or two hid bulbs/ballasts I prefer the hid/halogen set up as high beams are on/off allot and it's tuff on ballasts/bulbs

^^^
Some bi zenon kits only use one single HID bulb. They just have a servo that moves the bulb when you change from high/low beams.

So I can't just use the kit I have now? I have to take it back and get the bi zenon kits?

The angel headlights will take the same bulbs as the stock headlights ... so you are back in the same boat again ...

Because your other two threads were just additional questions that could have been asked in this thread, I deleted them. Let's keep the clutter down. Thank you, and welcome to Oznium!

Well I typed it before , here are your options :
A) Bizenon with halogen bulb use your existing hid ballast , your hi beam plug, resell your bulb
B) buy a bi zenon kit with two ballasts
C) buy a hid kit with a servo that moves the bulb
D) Return the kit and give up

I'd recommend buying a new kit and selling the one you have. The ballast wiring may be different since you're powering two bulbs instead of just one.

Incase you didn't read it in your other thread, this is where I got my HIDs from. I'm still working on the retrofit but I plugged them in to make sure they work and they did.

I would recommend getting an after market projector ligths!! if not your bliding people like craziy with hid in reflector housings!! even though it would be better for you to get a real hid retrofit! but they are expensive and real time consumers!! but like i said if you buy after market light you can have both hid in your lows and highs.

personally i like this best!! halos!! But any way the crystall ball is the projector for the hid low. and the one next to it are your highs!! This are one of the expensive ones just because of the halos and the leds. but you can buy them with out those cool things!
