the Dodge Circuit, that can go 150 to 200 miles on a charge.

the all-electric plug-in zips to 60 mph in less than 5.0 seconds, with a top speed of more than 120 mph

The system develops an impressive 268 horsepower and a neck snapping 480 lbs-ft of torque.

Looks like it could've been a new Viper design.

Do any automakers have any creativity anymore?

Loutus body. Viper grill. Possible mclaren windshield? What they have no new ideas? They couldn't make a new grill for this completely new car?

I love you dodge but they always do this. I hate it.

Kind of thought of the Viper also when I saw it.

Circuit is based on Lotus Europa

Cool looking car, but completely impractical at only 200 miles per charge. You couldn't go anywhere far with that.

It's not really a car you would be taking roadtrips in though so in the city it would be fine.

Yeah but my trips through the city usually rack up about 40 miles one way icon_biggrin.gif My electric bill wouldn't like me owning that car.

I would own that car in a heartbeat (but it's most likely going to be over $100k icon_sad.gif )
An instant 480 lbs-ft of toque throughout the rpm of the motor. icon_eek.gif

Run an extension cord from the neighbors house at night after they go to sleep and unplug before they wake up. =)

200miles would get me to work and back All week, Be nice to save just that much gas, be even nicer if the design was more practical and would't cost 100k+. Lets make a car that only the rich can afford, you know the people who dont have any problems buying gas already!

My only beef with electric cars (beyond the limitations that happens with every power plant) is the fact that most to all of them rely on the public power grid as thier power supply which in turn burns more coal or what ever and in places like Cali where they have rolling brown outs during the summer, one more load on the system is a bad idea...

As for the car once it was said it was lotus in body design the lines make more sense, does look like a lotus...

I would have driven ^^ its different and sleek looking. Not to mention I would put up with a few odd looks for the amount I would have saved in gas when it was 4 bucks a gallon.

There is a professor at RIT, who created the font Lucida, who drove around in one of those EV1's.

He said it was the best vehicle he had, til they took it back and crushed it.

On note; look at the new Chrysler 200c. Sweeeeet.
