Strobes are a definite no-no. Could actually land you in jail with a felony for impersonating a police office.
Check with your state police station for neon laws.

you can have neon and strobes, however, they cannot be illuminated whille your vehicle is in motion on any public road or general areas other than your private property.

Possible, many states make it illegal to have a vehicle equipped with those lights. I recall inspection shops failing people with neon kits.

Dan and Clutch1 got tickets for having blue lights installed on their vehicle, even though we were on private property.

It varies by state.

I sat in a aparking lot with strobing effects on. In Ohio I believe its fine to do. It always varies from state to state though.

I would not use strobes....you are asking for trouble when in view from a public roadway...

Neons are going to draw attention, contact your local State Patrol office for lighting equipment statutes to find out if they are legal and the guidelines...

The general rule if you dont want a ticket is to make sure they are on private property and out of view of vehicles driving by on public roadways....
