Whats good to use on Polished wheels?

Got a car im trying to sell and the wheels look like ****, Just curious whats the best product to clean polished wheels? I heard windex w/o Ammonia. True/False, something better?

are these aluminum or Chrome finish ??? Clearcoated over the polish ???pics would help

Don't have any pics of the wheels or car on this computer. But I beleave there Polished Aluminum w/clearcoat over them because one of the wheels has some minor flaking going on and it appears to be the clear coat.

Then don't use the stuff Mr Kia posted it destroys the clearcoat ... get scratchX and use that on the clearcoat Follow it up with a good polish and a coat of wax ...unfortunately if it flaked in placesthats harder to conceal

Thanks for the tips venge. The flake is not real bad yet and the wheels are not new by any means but it always helps to clean the car real good to help sell it.

windex is good as a final touch to chrome wheels, doesn't clean too good.

I wouldn't use it on aluminum wheels though.

yup..use scratchX with the mother power balls..does wonders
