I know that it's probably all relative, but if i bought a muffler with the correct offset and size as the stock muffler, how much would a typical exhaust shop charge to swap them out and make sure it was all properly sealed and hung?

If the intake and output of the muffler are the same diameter as your stock piping, it should be pretty cheap. I went to K-Mart and had a friend put mine up on the lifts so I could do it myself. Going to get it welded soon though, the bouncing and jiggling annoys me even if I can't see it lol.

If you weld it, make sure the piping and the muffler are NOT galvanized. If it is galvanized and you weld, it'll burn all the galvanization off (around the weld) and cause it to rust quickly.
