led vs cathodes |

ok so im jsut about to order the lights to put in my foot wells, i was about to order some flex led strips, when someone told me i should get cathodes, what do u guys think? also do u think i should go blue or white? my car is blue but im gettin white wheels and goin for white accents.

white if its your accent color. go LEDs only because they have a better color to them.

They both have drawbacks and advantages . Cathodes will throw a wider, more even pool of light . They're less directional and won't cast a 'beam' of light like LEDs can (especially in tight spaces) . LEDs are more directional but this can be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on where its being installed . LEDs are a bit more expensive, but the depth and saturation of the color is much better and you'll be left with a more 'vivid' shade then a cathode will provide .
Personally I always use LEDs . |

use strips... you wouldn't really tell the difference in glow. flex strips aren't as directional as people will tell you.
cathodes have different saturations then LED's so if you decide to add on you'll have to change to led's because there's only 2 sizes in cathodes.. while you can just get 1 teeny tiny led to an awesome amount of stips |
