Ok so i kinda at a daze at the moment when i bought my 95 jimmy the back hatch was already shaved and it worked for a while and i was cleaning it out and i went to hit the rear hatch butten and it didnt pop... is there another way to pop it? or what, im kinda affraid to try and pry off the back plastic, i tried to pull it back alittle but im affraid if i pull to hard its going to snap.. so if anyone has an idea on how to fix this please let me know

Find reciever unit that sends the signal to the solenoid to pop it and just hook up 12V to it and it should pop. If non you've got a bum solenoid and then you'll either have to get it somehow iwth a coathanger or pry the plastic off.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?
First check and see if you have blown it's fuse,if not then remove the switch from the dash and bypass it to get it to pop open.If none of that works,like clutch1 mentioned,you more than likely have a bad solenoid.

alright thanks, if i cant figure it out ill just call the GM lott and have them deal with it
