ah how i love tax returns that turn into new turbos. Upgraded the turbo on the 7 recently and took it out for a dyno run and was impressed quite a bit by what i managed to pull off. Anyone wanna go from a 20 roll

I raced one that same color a couple years ago, it shot a fire ball out of the exhaust and it lingered in the tailpipe for like 3 seconds illuminating my car for a bit before he smoked me.

i was coming home from the shop and was at a gas station filling up and a eclipse pulls in (body kit huge wing clear tails) he looks over and laughs and says something to his friend about my car being rice. he asked if i wanted to race and said he could beat me while i am pumping race gas into my car mind you haha. i said ok but only race for 50 bucks he agrees we line up down the road. i even gave him the jump off the line then floored it and was gone before he could hit third.....******* never did pay up either hahahaha

What is it with people in Eclipses?!

I was looking on craigs list and some kid was selling his Eclipse GT with a 3.0L V6.

He said he was selling, and it's the fastest car. It pulls harder and beats his friends M3..... Idk, I've only driven a 4banger eclipse and they accelerate like turtles... IDK how their V6's could be a God engine.

So I emailed this guy to ask for pictures of the motor that will beat an M3. And I got a reply back saying

Pretty cool that you can pump out that much HP out of a Civic, but personally, I'd save that money you put into it for a more practical car since I'm not a speed junkie

its an eclipse, and unless extensive modifications engine wise have been done, theres no way in hell it would pull on many mid to higher end performance machines.

anyways, thats a lotta powa. i wished i owned a car that was as easy to modify

Some dude pulls up in a turbo'd civic with 2 hot girls in it, we're rollin @ 40 and he gives the 3rd honk and takes off. I gave him about a car length then floored it passed him, right before I passed him I turned off the car, pulled the keys out of the ignition and started waving them at him when I drove by, the chicks were had no idea what I just did, but I could tell by the look on his face he didn't want to race again.
I miss racing.

I'm a fan of when normal cars try to race my bike. I'm pretty sure they do it just to be stupid (like I used to do when I raced Corvettes and such in my Legacy), but it's still funny

It's a good thing you don't like steering while going ~100mph.

Yep i have the right hand drive one also going to put some work into it then resell it

and thesull its on low boost it will easily run 9's this summer ;) and also planning out some methanol injection next, but it will also be my auto cross car which is more fun then driving in a straight line any day.

Whyd you stop the pull so soon? Though Rotoray Motors like 9K rpms and such/

The HP you are putting down is insane for such a small car.

But I wanna know how you are going to get that power to the ground. I've ridden in a 350 hp mach 1 stang and even in that much heavier car he was slipping the much wider tires.

All that power is impressive but if you can't do anything with it it is meaningless.

What suspension/tire set up you runnin?

The stock Mustang suspensions are **** for getting the power to the ground. Get some new suspension parts, remove front swaybars and they'll hook much better.

But w/ 57X hp, you have to have something done to keep from shredding the tires.
