First of all I have a 2001 Silverado extended cab. I want to put in 4 10's. I do have a custom made box for the 4 10's. And my question is, what subs/amp would be good for the 4 10's. Any recomendations will be appreciated. Thanks!

lot's of different oppinions you shall get... if it's just the matter of just bragging and saying you have 4 10's in just get a couple of cvr's or some other cheaper sub. otherwise i'd expect to spend close to $400 on the subs alone if you want decent quality (for the average person they can't really tell the difference between super clean and just noise when turned up enough.) and probably $200 for the amp.

i have 1 10" JL audio W1v2-4 which cost me about $90.. and it's pretty dang loud. would love to put another 1 in, but low on cash right now.

Knowing the internal volume of the enclosure would help you choose which sub will be best for you . Have you measured the volume ? And is it different for each driver ?

Memphis audio ftw!!!! you can pick up memphis power referance 10's dual voice coil for about 80 to 100 a piece. awsome subs, dont need much power and sound great. hits hard and sounds clean.

you could probably find 2 amps for them for abou 200 a piece.

I will say, if your gonna do a system, do it right.

Pick whether you want some bump or a ton of bump and go from there.
