so i was doing a search on myspace.....

Well I was doing a search for some co workers on myspace and came across something that well suprised the hell out of me...

Well I work at a prison..... THERE ARE FREAKING INMATES FROM THERE ON MYSPACE, how the hell...... one is serving a 40+ year jail term.......

Ah the joys of rights.... it's amazing what one can do with an internet connection and a bit of work... I'm amazed that the prison doesn't have some form of limiter to block certain sites like most goverment systems do...

As long as they're not sex offenders or cyber criminals, it's very possible they're allowed to be on it.

I wonder what they have in there about me section?

Maybe it has some of these?

I love working out in the yard for at least an hour each day.
I feel confined by everyday life.
Dont get to travel to much these days (although I would like to one day.. maybe in 5-10).
My Favorite day of the week is Soppy Joe Tuesday!

the thing is their not supposed to be able to get on the internet, the only place they could has to be in the library.... that crap is messed up.

My sister made mine for me. Maybe they don't even know that they have a myspace,cuz a loved one felt it would be a good way to allow friends to say hello.

dont be suprised....it happens all the time....Plenty of inmates in the state of washington that are not supposed to have internet access have personal web pages and what not...

I personally like myspace since people are dumb enough to post their crimes for their friends to gloat about it....makes my job a lot easier explaining PC to arrest someone when I can include a picture of the crime they committed

Lol. My friend works at "Sunglass Hut," They sell designer glasses there.

One kid goes in, steals a pair of expensive sunglasses, and buys a cheap pair on sale. He filled out his name, address, phone number and email address. So they went on MySpace, printed out his pics, Gave it to the police. And they went to his house and arrested him! lol!

happens more than you think...criminals tend to tell people of their crimes and gloat about it...and if you think your friendship with anyone is worth more than say a $1000 cash reward...think again

Its also a good way to screen people coming into the law enforcement field or any employment for that matter...type in their first and last name into myspace and wallah, you get to see the things they wouldnt tell you in an interview

Companies are starting to use myspace and facebook to look at people a lot now.

lol and this is one of the many reasons why my myspace is almost an empty shell, the pics are about as much as it would show into my life and even then it's pretty pointless....

haha I know MySpace is how Pittsburgh's graffiti task force caught a few "notorious taggers" lol. People are dumb.
