this will be the second transformer i will have to buy. Im using a 10amp fuse, too large? This would cause the transformer to burn out instead of the fuse? Why do they keep going out? Fuse is 4inch after battery, ground to chassis and hooked into a switch. Cathodes ran for about 3-4 hours and now no sign of life (other than red dot on trans. and switch).
I do have subs and a deck so there are other electrical comp's at work. Thanks to any advice |

im definitely no hardcore electrical guy but from what ive learned from the oz guys is thats too big of a fuse unless you have a whole **** load of transformers.

While a 10A fuse is too large for a single cathode kit I'm not seeing how a proper fuse would protect your transformer from blowing out . Its certainly a necessity from a safety standpoint but unless I'm missing something obvious I don't see why it would be the culprit for your transformer malfunctioning .
