If anyone has these;
Could you get a picture of just one under a table with the lights dim? Preferably blue. My sis is getting married in septemeber and my mom found these battery LED lamps for under the table but they're mad expensive, like $95 for one! She wants LEDs under the table for mood lighting, so nothing real bright. I figured maybe one of these under the table would do the job? I would wire them up to batteries. |

They're bright, if I can find mine tomorrow I'll get you some pics. They'll do the job as far as brightness, but light spread I don't know. Depends on how big the table is.

If you are looking for light spread you are better off getting a High Intensity Flood,
They have a better spread than these. D A N N Y |

I think we're missing something important here.. your sister wants blue underglow on all the tables at her wedding ? Your family is awesome .

First:
Second:
This is with a point-and-shoot with only preset shooting modes and no manual control of exposure, etc . The table is about 6'x4' and stands at hip height on me and I'm six foot . There is a single square module dead center, provided with 13.5V . I shot under a wide variety of conditions and picked the two shots that were the most accurate to the view you'll get in person . The first is with the lights out in the table's room and a single light bulb on an an adjacent room . The second is with the lights out completely . In the first shot the brightness of the center of the 'flood' area is accurate but the camera doesn't perfectly reflect the limits of the flood, which extend (albeit somewhat dimly) beyond the area you can clearly make out in the picture . The second shot is a little too 'hot' in the center of the flood but more accurately makes out the full range of the flood effect . The width of the beam is not going to be your issue, it casts a very wide pool of light at that height, which will probably be similar to any table used at a wedding . Your issue is going to be brightness . Even with the lights completely off the effect is not a stunningly dramatic one . And with the lights dimmed to the level one would expect to have a wedding at (even the dance portion of the reception) the effect will be very subtle; in my opinion so subtle as to be not really worth the effort or expense . Two other considerations.. are there table clothes on the tables, and if so how high up is the skirt of the table cloth from the ground ? That will limit the flood of light greatly and provide a sharp edge . And how are you planning to power them ? Battery packs ? A little 12v AC adapter for each table ? If it were me I'd install 3-5 per table, 3 giving what I'd expect to be an impressive but still complimentary effect (with the room also lit from above) and 5+ approaching an attention-pulling effect that your sister might not want at her wedding . Hope this helps, sir . |

Those are bad ass. Thank you so much for your time and pics!!
That's the only delima, I don't think I could use an AC adapter because my mom wouldn't want wires running all around the floor. I figured I'd wire up a battery pack. I would have to use alotttt of batteries. What are the minimum and max voltage these can run on? I'm probably going to buy one to mess around with. I have till September! |

They're wired for automotive, so maximum I'd give would be around 14.5. Minimum doesn't matter - they're LEDs, so they'll dim. You could hook them up to 9V batteries for the easiest/smallest battery support, they just won't be as bright.

Yeah,or you could just use some 12 volt alkaline batteries. Click this link,I found six of them for $5.99 http://www.electronicsnmore.com/product_info.php/products_id/8332 |
