They are both DVC 2 ohm, I was thinking either the Hifonics Colossus or the ZX2500.1 kicker. Which amp do yall think i should get? Thanx.

/agree If you HAD to only pick from the two options you listed, I would say the Hifonics for the extra punch and 2/1 design. *Quick advice, you are not running your stock alternator for this setup are you? |

I am actually in Iraq right now and I am getting a new car when I get home, where could I find a good alternator at? Also, Should I get a red top or yellow top optima battery? I want it to be my main battery for my car, not as a capacitor. I do also already have a capacitor. Thanx

If its been changed a few times then you have other issues that need to be addressed. |

Then either you are not putting a big enough alt in for your system or something else is wrong in the car. |

I've got some great deals in the past from HO ~ http://www.highoutputalternator.com/index.htm
Like Iraggi they are all custom built, but unlike Iraggi, they are affordable. Plus you can get some nice finishes and any special touches you require. Also, Sundown amps are known for being extremely high quality products. I would like to see you throw a 0.25ohm load (or even 0.5ohm) @ that Kicker amp and not have it start smoking. |
