Ok, i had an engine light come on and got it checked out, it told me there was low voltage in my o2 sensor, my question is, where are my o2 sensors and how many do i have, i can only fine one after the cat converter. And will this make my car miss and sputter while being cold? Thanks in Advance

The o2 sensors could possibly do that. It might be a combination of a few things. Which of your cars is this happening on? The blazer or impulse? I can look it up and figure it out for ya.

But back to what I was saying about the other things, it could be a few.

Check your spark plug wires, make sure they are on completely. Also check the plugs themselves and see if there is any corrosion, build up, or sometimes they can get hot and bend, thus not having proper full connectivity.

So if you can tell me which car your having problems with, as well as the engine size/type I can look that up asap.

P.S. Check the headers/manifold. On my probe my o2 sensors are coming right off the exhaust manifold.

In FWD cars the exhaust manifolds are in the front bottom and rear bottom of the engine when looking from the front of the engine bay. And on RWD cars the exhaust manifolds are on the sides of the engine when looking from the front. (not implying you are stupid or didn't already know that, just throwing more info out for ya =] )

Aight well I have found a few different answers:

1. 1 is on the exhaust pipe by the catalytic converter, which you found

2. Like I said before trace your exhaust manifold/headers back, one may be there somewhere

3. I found that someone had said there was on/near the throttle body/carburator near the intake

I know there is at least 3, but not 100 % sure. I can't remember where the catalytic converter is on your car, but there are infact, two o2 sensors on the actual exhaust pipe under the car. They should be down pretty close to the frame on the driver's side.

From the diagram I was looking at the exhaust pipe was on the driver's side. Unless it was dual exhaust and you have single exhaust?

Well then the only thing I can possibly think of at this point is to start in the engine bay, at your exhaust manifold's and then trace the piping back all the way to the muffler. Also look around the throttle body and intake. More than likely if one is faultering it would be a good idea to go ahead and replace them all if you can afford it. If you could go to autozone in person they might be able to look up in a book or on their computers and find out exactly how many and where they are located.
