I was thinking about doing this now, seeing I just got done with the Accessory Relay that everybody helped with previously
Now I've been doing some internet google searches and found basically a bag of ideas to mess around with My goal is to have this installed on my car, and have it to where you NEED to press the "Engine Start" button to turn on the car. And to have it where if you press the button again while the car is already on, it won't affect anything (I can see my friends doing this). I understand I'll prob need a more advanced relay setup, but I'm up to the challenge and have found a few sites I can toss around to you if you don't know what I'm talking about So, My question to ya'll reading is how to go about doing this, I will not but cutting and soldering, only using splicing taps Any of course, any suggestions Please nothing about you hating the idea |

I assume I could do the same setup, for any car
Doesn't look like its an extreme vehicle specific setup http://www.yefim.com/vx/redbutton/ |

Yeah, you can pretty much wire that push button start into mostly any vehicle.I think it's cool, but kinda pointless if you still need to use your key,to actually make the button function though. |

There's a lot of pointless stuff on cars. All the scoops, non-functional and just for looks. Spoiler, for the most part non-functional and just for looks. Just because something isn't 100% function doesn't mean it isn't going to attract attention. |

True, but I said it was kinda pointless that you had to use the key first before pushing the button, not that it wasn't going to attract attention. |

if you make it pointless than it will be, my cars mods for the most part are to set it apart from the norm though ya know
i mean to me, just thinking about some guys car that "seems" like it would require a start button, like nascar and exotics, completely gives it a fast, street feel and having the setup where you wouldn't use the key, if feel would just be asking for a car jacking |
