I just got a couple of Rockford P3D412 subs .. i paid $100 each for them at this ghetto flea market .. good deal?

also, ive got a 1000watt amp for these with i think 8 gauge wire, i was planning on upgrading it to 4 gauge, were is the cheapest place to get this? |

Not really that...his might be used and I'd be quite suprised if those flea market subs actually came with a warranty. |

hope your amp can do 1000watt at 1ohm or 1000watt at 4ohm or even 500watt 2ohm 2channel.

They are great if you need it to look fancy. If you don't care about looks and have some wiggle room, save money and just get welding cable, you can run 0ga for the price of KK 4ga. |

Ya, that is true. We have a bunch of #1 and #2 welding cable here at the shop. thanks for the idea!

Like I said, only thing to worry about is how its going to look, and if you have some wiggle room. Only real difference between "power" cable and "welding" cable is the strand count. More strands = more flexible, but I've made welding cable do tight 90-180s before with no problem.
