Stuck on an island...

If you were stuck on an island with one non living object, what would it be.
-to keep this simple, it is the same exact situation Tom Hanks is in while in Castaway
-no electricity
-and the item must be able to fit in your hands (so boats don't fit)

I would also probably say flint. I do not think I could start a fire without, which would mean I would die quite quickly.

Knives are so important, try going a day without using a knife or any other cutting instrument.

Basically everything attached to this firearm is what i'm talking about. The gun would be for hunting things obviously unless this is a truely deserted island, in which case it wouldn't matter much what i take because i'm not going to live very long.

In this hypothetical situation the island is deserted right? As in no life except yourself? Why would you need anything then? You're not going to live very long
