You could have achieve the same effect by removing the rubber seal which by your pictures, you left intact. Also if you are doing anything but sitting still, air is entering that gap, not exiting.

Yes lets remove the rubber seal in a state that has snow and rain. that makes perfect sense. The hood is up enough to let head out, standing still and moving.

when i sit still i turn my pusher fans on, when im moving there off.

the air is always moving, its never sitting still.

lol not just a honda owner i also own a 93 RX7 that is pushing 574 HP and the honda is pushing 406 HP. Both have dyno sheets to back them up I dont just guess what my cars make nor do i bench race. So i know what i am talking about so think before you speak.

yes but still built by mazda and still much much higher quality than ford. some parts are interchangeable but not many.

sad but my resale value is wayyyyy more than yours and much older.

not sure why it matters that its part owned by ford
