Well I am in a composites class and decided to make skis for the class project...
Here is one of the skis in the vacuum bag on our mold. 
I'll spare you the process pictures. All trimmed up with the bindings mounted. 
I can't wait for winter.... |

Thanks man.
Well I would either need to find tri-axial woven carbon in a light weight or need very large sheets of uni-directional. I was unable to find the tri-axial woven and large sheets was not in my budget. Down the road I would like to make some skis with CF in them. Maybe a foam core and CF so they are light yet rigid. |

My mold isn't wide enough to do snowboards. |
