Ok here's the issue. It seems like i lose my oil little by little.
Now i KNOW it's the return line. I seems like on the turbo side of the line like it's pushing it out of the line up and past my fitting. It is a BRAND new hose. And i have it hose clamped. So i am stumped. I have it set to where it should gravity feed to the pan. Is it time to switch to stainless return lines already? And try that? Any ideas as to whats happening would awesome. |

is it leaking or burning it. if its leaking, just clean everything off near seals and lines run it a bit, and look to see where fresh oil is appearing. If you dont see fresh oil your probably burning it.

Turbo oil will be very hot coming out and will kill off cheap rubber hoses quickly. Maybe you have excess crankcase pressure, check the pcv valve . Can you change the fitting out and install a screw on type hose fittings?

It's a holset HE351CW. 1//2 inch t3stle fitting.I havea 1/2 inchhoseand hose clamp. I have a slow leak not a quart at a time. Theway it seems that it's PUSHING up and out of the line. My PCV is doing as it should. Pressure looks fine and the oil pressure to the turbo is where the holset company states that likes to stay.
I can change out to screw type fittings for the turbo as well as the pan. I see it fresh a small amount on the ground so i know it's not burning it. Ill try and get a picture tomorrow. Just really confused as to why it would push past the clamp and out the top. |

Isn't that kind of a no brainer fix? If it's pushing past the clamp and out the top, just tighten it and if that doesn't work, replace your current hose clamp with a better/higher quality hose clamp. |

have you tried a different hose at all?
just be careful oil fires are hard to put out haha my buddies Z06 TT burnt to the ground due to the oil spraying out and catching on fire. |

Im using a nice clamp. Yeah i think it's about time to switch to stainless and see if that doesn't bring me a bit more lck with the leaky issue. |

if its pushing past the top there is too much pressure for the rubber hose or the clamp isnt on tight enough. now whether thats a clot or hose issue is up to you to figure out.
I say drain your oil and see how much sediment your getting. if your line is small enough you could be creating a clot causing a rise in pressure right there pushing excess oil through your clamp. since its gravity fed its a common place for sediment to collect. Also you could try running a thinner oil. your viscocity will lighten the load on your rotating assembly though so dont go too light. thats all i got until i see pics. be on in a few days to see if i can help |
