oh forgot to put in what i thought was the best. im gonna have to go with a dual exhaust no catalytic converter with a flowmaster 40 series for each tail pipe (to go for the best sound) with chrome tips. im not a big fan on the rice burnin sound im more of a good ol american muscle car fan with the deep V8 rumble.

Actually it can really depend on the car.
If you want the best exhaust out there (sounding) I say go with a Borla cat-back system. It's expensive but damn it sounds so sweet. Also... SLP (Street Legal Products) Loudmouth is a really nice sounding muffler, however I believe it is directed more toward the Camaros/Firebirds (could be wrong). Stay away from Corsa, it has a really whiny sound, almost like a house cat or something, plus it has no power sound at all. Flowmaster is always good, that's what I'm running on my Camaro right now, and I love it. MagnaFlow makes a good muffler, I've heard it on my uncle's Suburban, however if you want a good soud out of that muffler you're gonna need some decent sized pipes (at LEAST 2.5 inch - recommend 3). Personally if I were to buy anything MagnaFlow it would only be their Catalytic Converters (sp?), because those are probably their best products. I have never personally heard a DynoMax system, but from what others have told me it sounds very close to a Flowmaster. The major difference between the two (and this is just what others have told me) is that the DynoMax muffler will quiet down in the higher RPMs, making for a quieter ride on the freeway. Hope this information has helped you guys. |

i really havent had time to take my truck anywhere. my friend got his ford f250 dualed out and it sounds like a ferrari ( its a v10 what can ya expect ) it only cost him 185 to get it dualed. this summer is when im gonna do the majority of the work to my truc because i will have plenty of time.
