At Night time before.....
After! The lights don't actually flare out like that in person, only on the pics.
Another view, before I adjusted them. |

I'm not using a refector housing, it's a euro style headlight with a smooth inner surfce so that the light beam is directed where it's suppose to be. I also have the headlight angled down quite a bit to avoid blinding on coming traffic. The glare that you see coming off the headlight is from the camera, not the actual headlights, I took all this into account before installing. Safety first, style second. |

You do realize you just contradicted yourself right? And I'm on the FTL train with HID's in halogen reflector housings, regardless of what you tried to do. |

Not sure how I contradicted myself, or what FTL means, but if you feel so negative about them why even respond? But hey, to each their own I guess. |

Looks great, good stuff!! Like the car too.
Projectors would look like 100% **** on an old car like that anyways. |

so true. nice upgrade with the HIDS, as long as they are aimed down they wont be blinding people. |

They make reflector designs for HIDs. And if you do it right, it can actually look pretty bad ass on an older car. |

Normally I would agree, however his beam is more of a spot pattern. It doesn't have NEARLY the glare of most modern OEM headlights as long as it's aimed low. This means he'll have horribly bright foreground lighting, but I would be more concerned with being able to see anything with the OEM halogens. |

Most sealed beam conversion units use H4 bulbs, so as long as he go full shielded bi-xenons or just shielded low beams only he won't be blinding people. It's when people get the kits with no shields at all that they will blind people. Hell I've been blinded by OE hid projectors that are miss-aimed more times than people rocking pnp kits...

Like I said, I've driven past MANY law enforcement officers and have not gotten pulled over nor have I had anyone give me the stink eye or flash their lights so I think I'm safe. Stock headlights on cars that old are horrible to drive with at night so it definetly is practical as well as cool.
