To give you a reference of how there are too many dealerships for the big 3. Toyota has less than 1500 dealerships nation wide.

Actually pOrk, WE have hundreds of billions invested in them.

Not that WE wanted to, WE were forced to.

The Dodge dealership neat me is closing, it kind of sucks. Not that Chrysler has ANY cars or trucks I would want, but it sucks for those who are trying to do business.

buddy of mine had his old busted durrango at the stealership thats closing in New Orleans and they called him up and said he had 3 days to claim his half finished car and have it towed to another dealer because they didn't think his backordered parts would be in before they closed

Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus for 2010....affordable?? yes.

while Chevy has a new camaro.....ford has a twin turbo tauras SHO WOOT! v6 gas milage.....but still put it down like a champ when you want to.

Compare it's 365hp of boostie goodness to gm's 415hp G8 GXP. yeah we can clearly see why.

GM if you watch many many of their commericials sells on power and such. ford sells on how economical the car is as well as the perks like interior, and such. This is why they aren't bankrupt. This is why they aren't all over the news like the other two.

The big three are suckin big time. but look at whos going down hardest. GM, and Chrysler......not ford boys. And everyone says...."oh, a ford." HAHA i mock these people now.

No actually ford is eating through money like crazy too they were just able to get to the credit to give them enough cash for a while and not have to ask for help, its a matter of time for them too.

Wow it's sad to look at the list of ones closing ...
36 dealerships in Ohio , I'm VERY suprised at some on the list ...
Ganley/ Spitzer/Whiteys are all HUGE Multi-line dealers They all have 8/10 Brands Minimum
With deep pockets and advertising to back it up ..
I figured that the list would be all the small ma/pa dealers that might sell 100 cars in a good year

I STILL don't see where the money savings are closing these...
I thought dealers were self suporting , Yes the company pays for "warranty" claims ect but the dealer must sell cars/parts/service/bodywork to support themselves...

I'm not gonna trash talk imports, I like most style of cars as long as they are done right. But I will say at least with American cars are still relevant after almost 40 years icon_biggrin.gif But like I've said before, to each their own, I don't hate on other peoples cars.

JUST THE INTERIOR????'

Try the recall already in effect for them. It's like if they have over 40 miles on the speedo or something ALOT of them are having issues with the battery in the trunk catching fire.

Yeah great design idea there. *******'s
