Kings of Leon - Amazing band.

If you haven't given these guys a chance yet, check them out. I didn't like their song "Sex on Fire", but after hearing their new single "Use Somebody" - I downloaded their CD.

Will defe. be buying the CD to support the band. Kind of reminds me of U2. Definitely some chilled out ****.

Opinions? Anyone like?

Jeff, KOL are originally from the Nashville area.

I have been listening to the new album as well, but I can't get into any of the songs other than Sex on Fire and Somebody.

Horrible.

They hit it hard with the college crowd / college radio.

I was required to play them once per show. I couldnt really find any I liked to play on air.

I know their one song from the Cloverfield soundtrack, but that's it.

I'd rather watch cats eat their own ****.

Amazing, vaguely reminiscent of the sweet call of a cardinal on the eve of the dawning of spring.

Listen to one song, they all sound the same. Not that it's a horrible quality for a band to have many songs that sound similar. (Example: AC/DC most of their songs are the same) But to the point where fans of the music have trouble telling you the name of the song or think it's another song, being played then the similarity is too much.

In high school I liked Nickleback, went to a concert and it sounded like total ****. They tried to be way too hardcore.

This should have been their first single off this album.

I hear that crap music every night I work and they played @ BU in Boston and all I hear about on the radio for weeks was about them. They suck, but I guess I'm a lemming like the rest?

I hate all of these stupid emo *** bands out these days...and I've never heard such retarded names for bands like I have in the past few years.

Not to mention they are making the kids today dress up like freaks and the boys are wearing women's jeans, eye liner, and nail polish. Ugh.

I dont know about Amazing. Sex on fire is an ok song, If there is nothing else on the radio ill listen to it but it wont be on my Ipod.
