I am getting AVS headlight covers for my car. My only question is how do i remove the white lettering "AVS" off of the covers? Thanks!

How is it applied to them,is it painted,or a decal? I can't really tell by looking at any pics online. icon_confused.gif

Yeah, that's a good option. icon_smile.gif If it's painted on,then you might be able to safely wipe it off with some weak/diluted acetone/finger nail polish remover,or even the goo gone. As a last result, you could also wetsand and buff/polish the area to remove it too. icon_razz.gif

It's not a decal.

And good luck with these things at night. For the same price i would have looked at laminx as it would have done you the same thing with a whole lot more visibility.

They are coming off at night anyway. It says intended for offroad and show use only for a reason. Well from what i hear it comes off pretty easily when they get here they will be posted.

Cool can't wait to see it.

If you ever want them full time look into lamix like i said. 50 bucks gets it for ya. it's made to protect your lenses and you can get it in a pretty dark shade and still let tons of light through. Couple that with painting your headlights inside black unless they already are......you got that show look with nothing but on road usage.

That's if you get annoyed with removing those things every day of course.

Well im getting HID's and you cant retrofit the stock ones. I would rather use these projectors than nothing at all and be like most people.

buy hid's and then run a true aftermarket casper shield. coupled with some kind of cover like your getting or if you decided to run laminx....youd be fine.

To bad they dont make e-code headlights for your car.
