Ok so im doing A LOT of research about this kit and the accessories u can get to go along with it and I was wondering if you put a 20" scanner (iceled) in the grill, can you have it on one solid color for when you're driving aswell as the option to scan when you want it to?

95% sure the answer is no.

It can't just sit still :)

It can scan in a single color though of course.

It can but only on street legal mode I believe. Which it stays on white. No other mode allows it to stay still. And you can not edit street legal mode.

Just curious, is there a possibility of having such features created, solid mode:
[XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX] <-represents scanner, x's represent leds lit up and scanner mode: [Xooooooooooooooooo]<-o's represent unlit leds

Its possible. You should to talk to Adrian @ Iceled if you want to enquire about the cost and feasibility.

The solid mode can be created, and yes it can be edited too. trust me i have done it.
you use program 0 which is also known as streetwise mode. You ahve to edit the home color in order to change the color of the scanner. However, i would not attempt this cause it may get you into legal trouble. Red is the worst color to even attempt, and blue can be just as bad in some states.

The door switch mode can not be edited in anyway.

I don't mean to switch the topic up alien, but with the iceled kit, u can edit the preset modes correct? I've heard so many answers from a lot of ppl and the main reason im curious is because the rainbow preset with the rainbow on the sides and red and blue on the front in rear, I would like to make the red and blue rainbow aswell, ne way to do that?

there is no way to do that. the kit is not designed that way. the kit is designed to have smooth, and amazing patterns. The kit is designed symmetrically. So divide the kit in half and it will be a repeat on each side.

you can try to extend the rainbow so the front tube has more colors, but it can't have a full rainbow on it.

Oh I see I see ok thanks for the reply alien, if u could look at the inferno v3 suggestions and tell me if u think that idea could work or if u think they would consider doin that cuz like I said im not gonna pay $1000 on something I can't custom to my liking, but I totally forgot bout this when I had my inferno v1 backin the day, I wanted it super custom so when I got a different ecu I plugged some tubes in each ecu to get the effects I wanted, I assume I can do the same, if chosen to purchase the iceled, purchase an extra ecu and plug the front tubes where the side tubes would be plugged in and get the full rainbow effect?
