The 20 inch long Piranha Bars have been a huge success, but mostly for non-automotive applications. It seems that 20 inches is just a bit too long for most car guys.
Oznium is now shipping a miniature 10 inch version which is perfect for under the dash. Upgrade from fragile cathode kits to this super bright, efficient, and durable LED tube with 15 Superflux LEDs. $8.99 for 10 inch $15.99 for 20 inch http://www.oznium.com/piranha-bar Special promotion coupon code for first THREE buyers: 30% OFF, minimum order of 2 Piranha Bars Promotion link: http://www.oznium.com/promo/4BTFD8 (be quick, it will expire after the first three uses) The cool thing about this product is that it can easily be daisy chained together to create one long circuit of lights. A 3 foot extension cable is available. |

Yea, you certainly can fit a 20" under the dash, but most people aren't as smart/creative as you. They wouldn't figure out to position it at an angle to make it fit. |

I received my white and blue 10" Piranhas today and after looking at both side-by-side my thoughts are they are both equal in brightness when comparing a white Tri-Chip strip against a white 10" Piranha tube. If you need a waterproof or a flexible source of lighting then I would suggest the Tri-Chip over the Piranha. If those two don't matter, then go for the cheaper 10" Piranha.

I took a few pictures comparing the two not lit up, but I couldn't get a good shot of them lit up. I'm working on a little something though.

Agreed. You should include some kind of adapter where you can splice a wire together. Right now I just stick the power and ground wires into the end of the tube with the holes in it.

Well there is this option: http://www.oznium.com/linear-light-power-adapter-wire That is for hooking directly up to AC adapter. For wiring to pos/neg terminal you might as well just cut the end off anyway ;) D A N N Y |

Didn't see that in the store, thanks. Since I'll be using these inside the AC Adapter adapter will work perfectly.
