A deer hit my car a couple days ago, and the passenger doors are going to need some work to straighten out a bunch of dents and wrinkles now.. so I figure if I'm going to be repainting the door I might as well just shave the handles and repaint the entire car like I was planning anyways.

However, I'm thinking about mixing the paint up a little. Same color blue, but 2-toned with something else.. and I'm not sure exactly how I want it yet..

My plan right now is having the bottom half blue, and hitting the top with the white-pearl GM color that shines yellow when the sun hits it.

As for how to split it up, I'm not sure if I want a line that just follows the body line, or is I went a little like point pointing down on it somewhere. Are I'm not sure if I want like a pinstrip splitting it up.. silver maybe??

So, to all you photoshop guys, if you're bored, would you photoshop my car 2-tone with white on the top? Please icon_smile.gif
Let the creative juices flow, I'm open to ideas right now!
(BTW, gonna get rid of the emblems and portholes, too.)

The bottoms have to stay blue up to near the top of the trunk so I don't have to repaint the fiberglassing I did, haha. Plus blue on the roof, hood, etc is SOOOO hard to keep clean. It rains once and there's lots of nasty water spots all over. I figure white would be a bit easier to keep clean.

.. I messed with paint on Mike&Ikes' one, what's the opinion on this??

The best looking pic so far is the one that clutch1 re-did.

In all honesty none of the look great.

Someone made this for me on another forum.. makes me like just the straight split line, and the white looks close to the white I'd use... looks probably more like it'd look when finished compared to the other ones.. What do you guys think?

Top half blue, bottom half silver. Or better, pewter...

bottom half = blue 100% just by the way, lol.

The deer.. I dunno, not fast enough to break the glass, but fast enough to leave dents and bust my mirror. I technically didn't hit it since it T-boned me, ha.

Keep it all blue imo...

Either that, or double tone a way different shade of blue into your existing paint...
