if you use the diagram the link showed you, there was one specifically for LED washers, you'll notice the most basic way is just to wire them to a 12volt, protect with a fuse, put a switch inline, then ground them out
If you follow those instructions, you won't need to connect them to the parking light. |

alot of police departments dislike washer squirter lights and will pull you over for them, it's good to keep glow on a manual switch so you can kill it on demand...

OR you can wire them into the turn signals and they will flash when you are turning ...

Scotch locks will aid in connecting to existing wiring.

you have to go thru the firewall into the cabin itself.. find the holes that has wires connecting into the cabin and tthru to force in thru there |

wouldnt recommend drawing power from the parking light...anytime your lights are on they will be on and I know I would stop you for using them...they stick out like a sore thumb.
wire them to a switch inside your vehicle so you can turn them on and off...each LED will have a positive (+) usually red wire and a black ground (-) wire. Connect the power wires together into 1 wire...use crimp connectors or splice the wires together and then run your power wire to the interior of your car to the switch. You will then run another power wire from the switch to your power source (12v) such as your car battery, add a circuit (fuse box) or your cigarette lighter which will have a 12v power on the back of it (usually power wires in vehicles are going to be red or white/bright color with another color line on them. Splice into that power wire then take the ground from both lights and wire them together and to a ground (such as a bolt in the engine bay on the fire wall etc. Then wire the ground on your switch (Im assuming you will be using a lighted switch) to a screw in the area you mounted your switch, usually under the dash there will be plenty. Use electrical tape on all connections and thats it...flip them on and enjoy to get thru the firewall you will see some rubber gromets that have wires going thru them...this is the stock wiring and how they get it into the interior of the car...either place your wires thru the middle of the gromet, which can be hard or cut a small notch in the gromet and put your wire thru that...makes it not so crowded and easier to get wire thru. |
