ok well its that time again to get a new system so i was gonna do 4 6x9s with a 4channel amp, i want some good bump without having to take up the space with subs+a box, ne suggestions?

whatever u end up choosing for speakers, I suggest amping it with the alpine pdx 4.150. I've had it for about a year now and I love it. |

Free air subs in the rear deck even 8's are a good idea IF you can clear them , Use the fronts for highs and ther back for bumps ... Even a small Bazooka style tube can give some bass and not sacrifice too much trunk space

i would suggest onlinecarstereo.com waaaaayyyy cheaper than crutchfield. for 6x9s i would recommend Jensen Powerplus 693. 400 watt max, 90 rms i think. 50 bucks a set. def worth it. have 2 in my rear deck of my neon and they move my rear view mirror a lil with no amp. just pioneer head unit pushing them

If you put a box behind your 6x9 then you'll get plenty of bump out of them.
