since my truck didnt come with a factory underhood light I decided to fab up my own
2 white 4.7 inch LED strips under cowl 2 white straight LED modules mounted on hood wired to a hood pin switch mounted near the hood strut pics taken in pitch black garage with no flash the last pic truly depicts the best color first 3 look blue for some reason

Looks good and bright.
You get a hood pin switch from here? If so, can you take a picture of your mounting location so I can see how you did it. Having some trouble trying to figure out how/where to mount mine. |

yeah I am using a hood pin switch.. although its the kind that just breaks the ground.. I mounted it in an existing hole on the fender by the cowl.. I can take a pic tomorrow
