I'm slightly confused as to what I need to do to replace my tC headlights with LEDs. I'm looking at this http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux for the replacement bulb, and I'm planning on replacing one bulb in each headlight (the bottom one in the middle light). Couple questions:

1) Will one superflux be bright enough for each headlight? Replacing the stock bulb.
2) How do you install the superflux? I took a look at the stock lights, and don't see how a prewired superflux can just fit on...am I missing something here? I'm not sure soldering it on would work, either....

You can not replace your headlight bulbs with LEDs from this site (well, it could be done but if you're asking these questions you don't have the knowledge to do it). I don't mean to offend you by saying you don't have the knowledge but switching to LED headlights would be much more involved then just throwing LEDs in the stock reflector.

It's not intended to be a slap at all (just the blunt truth). There's a LOT more to designing LED headlights than throwing them into a housing. It's not exactly a plug and play thing. There will be lots of custom work and custom design to get a good beam pattern and cutoff.

From how I read his post, he's talking about the 194 city light that's in the middle of the headlight reflector like so:

I just checked the Oznium store and I didn't know this till just now but Oz got rid of their smt style 194 led towers... So for the OP I'd have to say check Ebay for 194 led bulbs, there are several other led bulb sellers but their cost is going to be higher (I like Autolumination.com but the prices are higher in relation to ebay, so I only check them for different options for certian bulbs).

I realize that I know very little about lighting on cars, hence the reason why I posted this thread. Thanks for being nice about it.

Thanks PowerRanger. I was getting pretty confused looking around the site/forum and seeing all these lights.

Black DX, that IS the light I'm talking about, but is there a way to find a plug and play type replacement? Will any 194 led bulb fit? How does this correspond with what PowerRanger said?

I also looked around some more, and found a lighting guide... Which said that the lowbeams use H11 type lights. I can't find the light guide right now to give a link, but am I missing something here (again)? I know there are two lights that turn on for lowbeams... My guess is that H11 is for the lowbeams, and the 194 is for the parking lights?

the one in the pic is called a "city light" it's generally used like an extra running marker light, most of the time there is a twist socket on the base of the headlight to access the bulb with a pair of wiring coming out of it. Yes most any 194 bulb should work as long as it fits into the hole (some are larger than others).

PwrRngr was thinking you were talking about replacing the low beam headlight bulb with the superflux led. He was simply saying you'd not be happy by using the superflux led as a headlight since it won't ever be bright enought. Now there are led conversion headlight bulbs but these are for show and DRL uses since they only illuminate the housing but proved zero useable output. And Yes the H11 would be your low beam and the 194 is the marker bulb.

Yeah, this is what I was trying to say. If you're just trying to add headlight glow then they'll work good.

Well, I poked around their site a bit, but I kept in mind that every site will advertise their own products as the brightest lights. Does anyone have any personal experience with any 194 bulbs? I know pgiordano also recommended superbrightleds, but how do these LEDs compare with others?

also, I noticed on superbrightleds.com that each bulb's description displayed the degree of the resulting beam for each type of light. Can anyone give me some pointers on what degree is the best for adding some blue glow to my headlights?

thanks a bunch.
