So whenever i make a hard turn or a hard stop my amp does into protect, im thinking it might be a bad ground wire? Sound right?

Sounds like a loose wire or connection.

Protect is normally speaker wires shorting

Power wires shorting = BLOWN fuse

Protect is Output side plain and simple ...
Shorts will pop the fuse , No ground/ No protect light , No Power no protect light ... No Remote line no power to amp ... icon_rolleyes.gif

Alright smart ass then why is it when my power touched my ground it goes into protect mode? and yes i probably do have to big of a fuse, but this one does not blow. I had a 80 and blew them all day, put the 100 in there and solved everything.

Hmmm I've owned my own shop was factory authorized to service 15+ brands of car audio and access to all factory schematics and NEVER saw any type of input monitorig to go into protect (except overvoltage crowbar protection 15 volt plus input voltage) Also an Electrical and electronic engineer , but hey I guess I don't know anything icon_lol.gif
Ever think that the spark/arc might have shocked the output phase of the amp ...

Hmmm I never said you didnt know anything, I know your a very smart person when it comes to this icon_cool.gif , i was just stating a problem my amp has. If you have never heard of this, then why is it doing it?(Above post was not meant to raise your blood pressure in any way icon_razz.gif )
