I have installed 2 sets of 12" Cold Cathodes. Under the dash and under the back seats. I have not had a transformer that lasted more than a couple of hours. Warranty replacement was great but they failed the first night also. Has anyone else had problems with the transformers? I have 4 bad ones now and no lights!

The power wire I am using is from the 12v out from my sony deck. It is the blue antenna wire from the radio. only on when the radio is on. fused and switched, I have used this wire for previous led's. Do I need a relay?

I plan on putting 6 - 12" sets under my van. Am I going to continue to have problems?

I really LOVE these lights when they are working.

I actually ordered extra sets, because I know friends that are going to want some when they see mine!

Now I wonder.

Please help!

Please file a product replacement at https://www.oznium.com/account using the 'HelpNow' system - We'll send you out an immediate replacement of a newer transformer we're using.

Thanks!

Welcome

You shouldn't put much power on that remote wire from your headunit. If you still want to use this wire to turn on a bunch of lights, you should consider using a relay.

Under your van? Why not upgrade to LEDs which are already fully waterproof, indestructible, and don't require any transformers.
