this is pretty old, and has been going on before obamas time.

Yeah, these are the godhatesfags.org people who have been in the news on and off over the years for doing things like protesting with "Thank god for IEDs" signs at military funerals . The majority of the church is made up of just the Phelps extended family and I don't think they really believe what they preach as much as they just thrive on controversy . If its **** up enough, and will cause enough outrage, they'll put it on a sign and and march through the streets with it .
That being the case, I thing the best course of action is to ignore them entirely .

For those who may be interested, there's a documentary called "Fall from Grace" available on Netflix and elsewhere that focuses on the Phelps family including a few family members that broke free of his 'cult' . Interesting stuff, but not to be taken seriously, imho .

Nah . They see themselves as the only truly obedient followers of God, so as such their place in heaven is assured, I guess .

thankfully, the servers at work are blocking the vid's, so I only wasted time reading the responses, and not having to watch the videos. I remember very clearly when they tried to come up to Canada to protest something and were basically told by us (Customs) "Don't bother, we're not letting you in!"
