Rant...

Ok so apparently word got around that I sold my share in my business venture and I got/had money... which is retarded...

I got ripped off... my storage unit was broken into and my **** tool chest was stolen with at least 8k tools ;/

My track car m3 that I just put a new engine in is MIA... and half my **** in my house was gone...

I am **** **** and insurance is saying they are not going to pay? WTF! 10 years and not a single **** claim...

I have got about $3k back in belongings but apparently they(4 ppl involved) staked my house out and learned my schedule and that I left in the middle of the week to see my girl... I came home early and apparently spooked them.

I had my **** firearm in my damn hand when I saw a window broken and the back door kicked in...

I checked the chamber and grabbed the flashlight out of the drawer in the kitchen...

To bad the *** jumpped out the back window...

Oh and now I have a cold and am sick as hell... and stressed ;/

Nope, don;t know them personally.

Apparently they knew me through friends and clients and such. One of the guys I heard his name before because he ripped a guy off that I did work for... thats the one I had a face-to-face with...

At least you got a pretty good lead on who did it.

Yea the detectives are draggin their feet... my security camera has pictures of ppl and 2 trucks... I don't know then but feel like walking around town asking have you seen this person do you know them...

my e36 m3 coupe was my baby... just wait until I am doing adding that up... the sad thing is... I left the ket in the ignition and on my video camera I watched some fa g drive my car away

Why would you leave your key in the ignition? Especially on one of your prized possessions?

It was in a locked garage.. ons tands...... from the sound of it the pushed it off the stands and drove off... they used my car to haul stuf too ;(

I just finished the electrical maybe 3 days ago and even put the engine in that car, my dd, and a 240 about 2 or 3 weeks ago...

Sounds to me like you need new friends that aren't going to give your personal information to **** people.

You have security cameras and a locked garage but you're not smart enough to pull the keys out of your ignition??!!!

Why is the insurance company denying your claim? A stolen car is a pretty text book claim if you have insurance on it. Like your other story, I don't think all the information is given.

The car they are saying is a project/unfinished car... They are denying like %50 percent of the claim... I am having to go and find receipts... they are trying to settle fast I suppose?? My first major insurance claim... Glad I use a debit card for most things ;/ Also they started on that car like you said because the keys were in the ignition.... but it was behind locked doors....

if you knew where I lived you wouldn't think someone would do this... my garage was locked with a dead bolt and the garage door had a lock on it as well on the inside on both sides.

Eh, sucks either way. I can see them hastling you with the excuse that it's a project car. I'll agree that insurance companies (no matter which one) are only there to protect you when you don't have a claim. The second you need them it's a big fvck you and they turn their back.

Me too! going to try and find a newer M3 ;) and shell it and build it ;) I love e36s but after a brief talk this morning with insurance and my lawyer it appears I am going to get a check very soon ;)

New tools, new garage door, new car, new tvs...

Oh and the key was in the ignition because it was in my garage and on stands.... It is like keeping the key in your lawnmower... you never expect someone to break into your garage cut the locks on the garage door on the inside and then proceed to push a bmw off the jack stands and drive off with a stand stuck underneath it...

The sad thing is they had to stop for gas... it couldn't of had more than 3 gallons... the police are goign to gas station cameras now ;(

STAY mising car! heh so much work in it but I do enjoy building the cars...

I honestly loved making the rollcage and rhino lining the interior... if anything I would want to do that process again!

People keep keys in their lawnmowers b/c they are only a couple grand and no one's going to drive off down the road on a lawnmower.

Why would you rhino line the interior of your car? Just trying to add weight?

They are giving me a new ipod since mine was damaged... the personal name tag was scratched off and the songs deleted. seriel was still there... the xbox was missing the hard drive and no games were located. the tools they are deducting...

Haven't recoved much... The pistol in the floor he is apparently getting 5-10 for a felony cahrge on that??

Doesn't add that much weight really... not a full rhino liner either... just enough to add a little texture.... looks mostly ;) and to be different... what maybe adds like 1 pnd? Kinad of like on a plane darker the color adds more weight due to pigment? Thats why most race cars try to stay white... honestly... but for 1 pnd I would like to rhino liner mine.... The interior was gutted and i was going to be taking her to VIR in the fall... things cahnge ;)
