I check the site almost everyday and never noticed the new stainless steel 6watt light in the Marine section. I was hoping you guys would do something like this! I would however, like to see some video of it in action underwater....what is the spread angle? As you know, I have 3 of the floods right now, but if these are a whole lot brighter, I might be tempted to spend a couple hundred to outfit my boat with these.
Also, how hard would it be to make an RGB million color controllable version of these....imagine having three of four of these all synched esact or each with a random setting....if you had that, I would buy it this very afternoon! |

Just a thought, you might want to include a picture of the actual product on this page:
http://www.oznium.com/superflux-boat-leds I've noticed that quite a bit of the product pages don't have pictures of the actual product, only a building or a car being lit up by it. |

Stainless steel isn't cheap. I'm willing to bet a decent chunk of that cost is the material for the housing... |

I just got a quote for some work out of stainless. Started w/ a 1.5" diameter by 2" long chunk of stainless. Total cost was $30 for the part to be made. I know it's expensive but that part doesn't cost more than $40 to make. |

Top of the line is top of the line when it comes to waterproofing marine products. Plus Phil barely makes any markup on this.

danny, I'd be glad to field test a couple on my Maverick flats boat in a salt water environment. Maybe not at $139 bucks though...lol!
