i have a 7-color led ungerglow kit.
and when i turn it on its pretty bright. but then ive seen other led underglow kits even some neon underglow kits that are waaay brighter than mine! why is this? the only thing i can think of is that on mine the lighting is run off of RGB patterns. so if i turn it to BLUE only every 3rd led turns on. same with green, and red.......well i figured if i got a straight blue led underglow kit it would be brighter cause every led would illuminate blue. am i right or not? and how come some neon underglow kits are brighter than my led one. i thought leds are supposed to be brighter than neons. thnx for the help. |

Yeah, LiteGlow isn't that great of a kit, that is why it isn't all that bright.
I'd say that the FlowLighting kit is much brighter - if I remember right, I think the StreetGlow kit may be brighter as well, but over-priced, and not as nice as the FlowLighting kit. |

I have no personal experience with LiteGlow but I've often heard it the name slandered around these parts . While that's to be expected considering its a forum hosted by a competitor, I still got the impression its not the highest quality kit . All LEDs are not created equal, after all . And a very low-cost kit is bound to have lower-quality components in its build to maintain the profit margin .

*shrug* I think a million color (RGB) kit would be as bright as a single color kit. Like the flowlighting singles, its every other "third" led lights up. Just has the other two slots blank.
