i was reading alot of the posts on the forums and i noticed alot of people talkin about sanding down their LED lights...
i was wonderin what would happen if i was to sand down the prewired superflux LED.. would it make it brighter? |

Not that it makes it brighter, It makes the beam wider ...

ooo... do you think its worth it? being that the superflux LED is already bright and wide angled... has ne1 done it with pictures so i can see?

It just fans out the glow and helps eliminate "hot spots" or "bright dots" in certain applications
I had them in my door hand holds , by sanding they went from two dots reflected on the opposite side to a good general glow |

oo i see.. well i was planning on putting about 7 or 8 of them in a line and using them sort of as a fog light.. do you guys think i should sand them down?

Superflux LEDs already have a super wide viewing angle. For fog lights, there'd be no need.
