Well, I bought several of Oznium's Car Care products, some to try, some as repeat purchases, and I figured I'd post up my review on them so others can have something to go by if they are considering Ozzy's Car Care Products. I didn't grab pictures of before and after using the products, sorry.

I bought:
-Bug & Tar Remover
-Maximum Orange Concentrated Degreaser
-Streak Free Window Cleaner
-Wicked All-Purpose Cleaner
-Supreme Fabric Cleaner
-Lemon-Lime Air Freshener

I am breaking my analysis into the following sections:
-First Impression: What I thought of the product when I opened the box
-Preparation for Usage: What I had to do before using the product
-Application: How I used the product or what I used the product on
-Conclusion: My end results and final word on the product
-Rating: Rating of the product in my opinion and if I may make a future purchase of the product again

Bug & Tar Remover
First Impression: Looks different than the online picture. Smelling the product kind of burned in my nose a little.

Preparation for Usage: Following the instructions, I mixed 3 cap fulls into 1 gallon of water. Upon hitting the Bug & Tar Remover with water, it formed a lot of suds. The product itself has a slimy feel to it.

Application: I found the product did not do so well on tar for being a Bug & TAR Remover. I didn't have bugs to try it on since I had already washed the car with Meg's Gold Class prior to using this product. I had to really put some muscle into the tar spots and at 3:1 mix, it didn't do the job. I brought the mix up to 5:1 (5 cap fulls of Bug & Tar Remover and 1 gallon of water) and this time it smeared the tar, it didn't fully get rid of it.

Conclusion: For the amount of effort required to remove tar using this specialty remover, I will stick to Meg's Gold Class, since it will achieve better results with less effort (it will actually remove the tar and not just smear it)

Rating: 1/5 - Will not buy again

Maximum Orange Concentrated Degreaser
First Impression: The Orange Degreaser is orange in color, but does not smell like oranges. Do NOT smell this one, it will burn like no other. Directions say not for use on paint...in large CAPS, cool but...my items that need degreasing are painted (valve cover and oil pan)...oh well, I'll try it anyways

Preparation for Usage: None other than cutting the clear bottle sprayer to size and getting a rag to spray it on

Application: Used on my valve cover gasket seat. Sprayed onto rag, it did take care of the oil residue, but I also followed the degreaser with a damp cloth to "wash" off the degreaser. I then followed the damp cloth with a dry cloth, to dry the surface. I also used it on the valve cover gasket itself and it worked fine. While I was at it, I used it on my entire valve cover to clean off all the oil that was on it. This product took care of it all. Some spots needed a little more effort than others, but no major muscle-work.

Conclusion: Worked great for oil and oil residue. The bottle says to follow it with water, so be sure to run a wet cloth (or the hose if you are working in an area than can get that wet) on the surface after using the degreaser. I did not dilute this product, although it is possible to dilute it if you wish. I will put this product to further test on my next oil change, when I clean off my oil pan.

Rating: 4/5 - Would buy again

Streak-Free Window Cleaner
First Impression: Looks like Windex...

Preparation for Usage: None other than trimming the sprayer to size and getting a rag to use

Application: Used on my windows, spray it on the glass, wipe off with a rag. I suggest using something other than a rag though, since you do have to go over it a few times if your rag isn't absorbent enough. (Im currently using a sweatshirt and it isn't as good as using a plain T-shirt)

Conclusion: Gets the job done, I tend to get water spots on my windows and this does a good job at removing most of it. Using a decent rag/towel will help prevent streaking, although I have found by allowing the product to dry, you can "buff" it off and achieve similar results.

Rating: 5/5 - Would buy again (and have bought again) ; recommended to friends and family

Wicked All-Purpose Cleaner
First Impression: I can finally clean my interior with something more than just a damp cloth

Preparation for Usage: Cut the sprayer to size and grab a rag

Application: Tried spraying it first into the rag and wiping onto the surface and then tried spraying directly on the surface and wiping off with the rag, both methods yielded similar results. Certain plastics are NOT meant for this product. I tried this on one of my dash vents and now it looks like a "milky" black. My shifter trim bezel appears less glossy than it was before using the product. My dash itself is wrapped in a vinyl type of plastic

Conclusion: I'm not using this product further than the testing I have done period, yes it works fine on my dash, but the plastics on my dash (such as the vents) cannot be cleaned with this product. For being an "All-Purpose" Cleaner, I was hoping to be able to use it throughout my interior. It dries white on a black rag, I have not seen it dry white on my vinyl parts yet.

Rating: 2/5 - Will not buy again, good for certain things, but not "All-Purpose" as it's listed

Supreme Fabric Cleaner
First Impression: It's thick, not sure I can use a clear bottle sprayer with this one. Smells good and feels like soap

Preparation for Usage: Clear bottle sprayer works ok but not perfect. Doesn't matter much though. Also needed a rag. Clean the area of loose stuff like dirt.

Application: "Sprayed" it on my seat, kind of spread it around the area needing to be cleaned, let it sit for 15-20 seconds, then did a mix of blotting and rubbing (more rubbing than blotting to be honest). You do not need a lot of product for a soiled spot, this stuff spreads out very nicely.

Conclusion: The actual "stain" fades a bit, but it is still present, but it does clean up the cloth in general terms. Although because it's more soapy, it leaves the spot kind of slimy if you don't rub the area a lot (you need to rub fast so you essentially dry the spot using friction heat). On black, you may find the clean spot stands out compared to the area around it, especially if it's faded due to age. This may be a product you want to mix with water in a separate jug to 1) make it easier to spray and 2) reduce the slimy soapy factor.

Rating: 3/5 - May buy again, Oz should definitely change the cap on this product from being a plain cap to a cap where you lift up the little tab thing and it becomes like a nozzle (lol sorry I can't come up with a better description)
Like the cap seen in the picture on THIS product
It would come in handy especially for those of use who don't water down the product (or maybe Oz could water it down for us so it'll be ready to go with just a sprayer?) Just a suggestion.

Lemon-Lime Air Freshener
First Impression: Smells good, finally a possible solution to those dumb smelly trees.

Preparation for Usage: None other than trimming the sprayer to size

Application: Spray it on the floor, under the seats, in the trunk/hatch, etc. Strong scent will fill the interior with only a few sprays. (I usually do 3 or so sprays on the passenger's side in the front, 1 or 2 sprays on the driver's side in the front, and 1 or 2 sprays behind the seats on each side.)

Conclusion: Scent is definitely strong and it's great for a night out, but don't expect the scent to last for as long as it is claimed to last. I find after 2 days or so, the scent is gone. Also, I notice the car takes up a musty kind of smell after the scent wears off. Also don't get this on anything other than your carpet/floor mats/floor, I have accidently gotten some on my center console before and it dries white on plastic surfaces for some reason. (It comes off, it just looks bad until you can clean it off).

Rating: 2/5 - Will not buy this scent again, may try another scent to see if there's much of a difference, but I doubt it.

Final thoughts overall
If I had to recommend any of Ozzy's products out of what I've bought, I'd say the window cleaner and the degreaser for sure. However I will say, for the price of each product I tried, I'm sure you could find something by another name brand found in your local auto parts store that will achieve similar results if not better results.

By giving this feedback about Oznium's products, maybe Oznium can use it to see if there's a way to improve their car care product line. They have a great variety of products, they just need to be "fine tuned" if you will.

I also hope these reviews help provide some insight to those of you who are looking to purchase Oznium's Car Care products, I know there's been some threads asking what's good and what's not.

I commend you on your reviews of the products. Very well done.

Also, for windows, you can try using some old newspaper as your cleaning material. Pretty absorbent and no streaking.

Thanks for the tip A-Ray (although I don't get the newspaper icon_sad.gif)

And thanks for the good words everyone, I know there have been questions regarding some of Oz's products, and I was in need of some car care items, so I said what the hell, I'll try 'em out and write a review, if their stuff doesn't work out, I can always buy other car care products at my local CAP or Autozone.

Thanks for the review
I wish you would've had these when they first came out
The Car Care product line is pretty much dead
We won't be re-ordering as it just never sold
Some of your lower numbers are probably from the age of the product.
It still should work just fine but prolly not as well as it should.

I'm surprised at your wicked all purpose
I use that for EVERYTHINGGGG
and it kicks but!!

anyway thanks again

You're welcome for the review icon_smile.gif

My first car care purchase was around the time they came out. I had bought the window cleaner and air freshener. I was impressed by the window cleaner so I decided to try out more products as well as buy more window cleaner.

And you know, I thought about that as well (about the age of the product), especially since my supreme fabric cleaner needed a LOT of shaking up since all the "soap" looking stuff dropped out and settled at the bottom. Plus there was dust on the tops of each bottle lol

Sucks to hear the whole line is expected to be dropped. I know it's all about sales, but some products were ok, others sucked (sorry), and a few just needed a couple tweaks to be acceptable. But again, a product that sits on the shelf and doesn't move is money lost and wastes shelf space. I guess Oznium was more for lighting anyways icon_cool.gif

I just want to post an update on the Window Cleaner.

I have used it several times now and I think (as Danny said), these products are just old and they aren't as good as they used to be. With this bottle I notice it ALWAYS get a haze and streaks, and it doesn't take out water spots as well as it used to. I have tried newspaper, paper towels, rags, etc. and nothing helps. And the streaks and haze that are left behind can be difficult to remove.

I'm afraid I must say the Window Cleaner isn't what it used to be. I find I get MUCH better results just using vinegar (of course) and a paper towel, however I will be trying other products that I have seen posted in this forum as an alternative to using vinegar all the time.

Yes, that was what I was going to try next, but upon looking it up, they offer it in several different ways? They have a spray bottle kind, a spray can ("Aerosol" can) kind, and a cloth wipes kind.

Any recommendations on what kind you use or have tried?

Thanks in advance

Aerosol version of Stoner Invisible Glass and newspaper works awesome icon_smile.gif

I was skeptical about the aerosol having overspray, but it really sprays nicely, and has a conical spray pattern, so it covers the windows nicely.

AND...no haze or streaks, and only $5 at Autozone for a 19 oz can.

Sorry Oz, but I'm afraid I must make this product switch as well. icon_sad.gif

^^Sprayway and two microfiber towels in the shade works awesome. I actually like the Sprayway much better than Stoners Invisible Glass. I buy mine in a four pack at Sams Club for $5 and some change. icon_cool.gif It's also sold in single cans at Target and Walmart too.

Windex isn't safe with tint I believe. I sell sprayway glass cleaner and use it as well. It works better than windex imo. Plus it is safe for tint for sure.

We're talking about window cleaners (and the rest of Oz's car care products), not..."directory world" cussing.gif GTFO of my thread...
And it's "idea" not "idia"

And yeah, I've been looking on amazon/ebay for deals on packs of these things, but nothing seems to beat Tat's $5 for 4 at Sam's Club for Sprayway...too bad there isn't one local to me (unless I ordered online)

I believe as long as you make sure the Windex says "Ammonia Free", you'd be fine, but I would still recommend Stoner's over it.

Windex also makes an automotive specific window cleaner, that doesn't contain alcohol and is safe for tinted windows. I've never used it,but I have seen it at Walmart a few times.
