Canon 20D

Sucks because I could of saved a lot of money by just buying a tiny point and shoot and I'd probably get the same results.

I picked up a Sony H50, and it's probably the closest thing to a DSLR that you can get in the point and shoot arena and not have to break the bank.

I got mine for $300 on sale from $400. It has the ease of use of a point and shoot when you just want to get the quick shots, and it also has the more advanced features if you want to get artsy with thing. The biggest selling points for me were the 330 degrees of tilt on the screen, which makes shooting over crowds very easy. It extends out from the body and you can tilt it both up and down to almost horizontal

Second is the included lense hood...

and the last is the grid overlay on the screen. If you've taken photography classes, then you know about the rule of thirds, and the camera has an overlay that helps with that. It's a small thing, but it helps.

Cannon A630. Love it. Movable screen makes low shots so easy. Takes great pics too. Alot of custom preferences can be adjusted.

Before you run out for a new camera, I suggest trying yours with a tripod if you haven't already. That can make a world of difference with any camera.

How do you like that G10? I've always wanted one, for it's size and the amount of things you can do with it that you can't do with many point and shoot cameras.

Most $100 and up Canon digital cameras have a ring on the front of the camera around the lens that can be removed and you can install a lens tube adapter. I mostly use that adapter for the polar lens to remove hazyness and reflections from shots.

Canon S3IS....

Having a tripod is very important for taking low light photos.

I've actually only taken 4 pictures with it. I got it last week. Give me a few mins and i'll post them.

I previously owned a G7 I liked so I figured I'd go ahead and get a G10.

Just reading online reviews:

Pros: RAW format brought back

Cons: Many people are upset because the screen doesn't come out and tilt

Here they are. All were taken without a tripod.... I was just testing it out. No settings were changed (just put it to macro)

Yeah, I had a G2 with a tilt screen and didn't use it much. Sure is a sharp looking camera though. Check out these forums sometime:
