New DAILY DRIVER!!!!!!

I'm picking up my new DD on sat.

I am turning the focus into my project and i am going to go for a little bit more then i actually thought i was. I have some parts now for it, but i am doing a complete build and in the next year or so shooting for about 450whp.....wont say if ill make it or not only time will tell. And with my medical mal practice money i get, should help haha.

ANYWAYS the new car is a 1996 GTI VR6 with an intake and full exhaust. It is so cool. Sounds really mean, and has a good amount of pull. Stepping up to a v6 though.

Also has a really nice interior sunroof and BBS wheels. Next week i'll have pics just wanted to share the good news. =]

I was thinking the same thing when I read this. People wonder why health care can get pricey. doctors have to cover their ass and do 50 unnecessary test just to save their ass. Then someone sues a doctor, and instead of using the money on their health because the doc obviously **** up their health, they go spend it on car parts!

Likely mal practice goes above and beyond what it needs to cover the medical expenses to "fix" the issue, it covers emotional/etc losses. Doctors shouldn'y be **** up people's health in the first place....have better doctors and doctors wouldn't be in this situation.

Good choice is car, that should be your project though. Also it's not a V6 it's... well they're just weird.

dude if you want 450whp just boost the 12v VR6. Those things can take like 18psi on stock internals

Honestly the vw has more potential

fix the focus and sell it ... get 5k and turn around and build the vw right

already have most of what i need to boost the Vdub. Found a factory block for the focus so im returning it to stock and selling it.

All i need is a chip, don't know if i have to change the maf or not, and some other odds and ends. Otherwise i have everything else from my last build.

I'm not sure about 18psi i'd have to look into that def worth it though.

I said i would have pics THIS week. The computer i use is at school, so i between work and making sure i spend enough time with my fiance, it can be taxing. Thankfully i have wed off and im going to wash it and wax it for pics.

And the mal practice issue was i was put in the ICU a while back, they put on all the forms for a psycotic breakthrough, and gave me enough drugs to sedate a horse to keep me from bothering them.

It was actually a head injury, in which they failed to tell my family of any kind, that i had quite a bit of blood in my urine, and i had no idea who my mom, fiance or anyone else was for three days. They just found out i was bipolar and basically just said well drug him.

BTW this car only cost me 3100 bucks. Not too much

I think his focus can bring 3-5 depending

Funny thing is that is an easy 7k car at least if he didn't destroy it.

I know it's got a VR6 i was saying it wasnt a V6, cuz the VR's are set up funky.

18psi is the max you'd want to run on stock internals, and a head spacer would be a good idea at that boost. running a 14PSI setup totally stock would be massive and daily drivable. Guy I used to hang out with in the Seattle area had a MKIII VR6 with a supercharger pushing 17psi on fully stock internals and that little beast could spin any gear at most speeds
