So I get, in theory, how to wire leds in parallel, it just seems hard to actually do it. It seems if theres more than 2 leds in the series, wiring up allt he legs to eachother would be hard. How would I go about doing that, just connecting each - or + leg, one by one, with a piece of wire and then just soldering it to the next leg?

Any tips on how to do this easier?

You got it... + to each + and - to each - some use junction blocks to make it easier

you can use a piece of wire between the legs of the LED rather than trying to put together the metal "legs"
